WHITE RAVEN

About Allison

Mathematician. Strategist. Experienced COO. Property Investor. Business Coach.

I have spent much of my career working out how complicated things fit together and how to make them work better.

That started with mathematics.

It continued through around 20 years in corporate strategy and senior operational leadership, including multiple Chief Operating Officer roles.

Alongside that, I have been investing in property for more than 25 years.

Over time, those different strands have come together.

I am naturally interested in the big picture:

What are you actually trying to achieve?

What should the model look like?

What needs to change?

But the COO part of me also wants to know:

How will this actually work in real life?

I have spent years moving between strategy and execution.

Seeing the pattern.

Designing a better structure.

Then helping make it workable.

That is still how I approach White Raven.

I built my own choices gradually

I started investing in property while I was still working in corporate roles.

For years, I thought of the portfolio largely as something I was building for the future.

Then a coach asked me a very simple question:

How much does your property portfolio actually pay you each month?

I did the maths.

And realised the future I thought I was still building towards had already started to arrive.

That gave me the confidence to leave my corporate career, rent out our London home and spend time living in Italy with my family.

Nothing about my assets changed that day.

What changed was my understanding of what they could already make possible.

That lesson has stayed with me.

Often we are so busy building the next thing that we do not stop to understand the choices already contained in what we have.

What I bring to the work

I am not a financial adviser, accountant, lawyer or mortgage broker.

I do not try to replace them.

My role is different.

I help you step back and see the whole picture.

To work out what you actually want.

To understand what you already have.

To see possibilities that may not be obvious when each asset, adviser or decision is looked at separately.

And then to turn that thinking into something practical.

Sometimes that means reshaping a business.

Sometimes property.

Sometimes understanding what questions to ask about a pension.

Sometimes money.

And sometimes the most important outcome is simply having enough clarity and confidence to make a decision you have been putting off.

Why this work suits me

I still invest.

I still make decisions involving property, finance, advisers, businesses and competing priorities.

So I am not approaching these questions purely from theory.

I know what it is like to have several advisers, each looking at one piece of the puzzle.

I know what it is like to make decisions where the numbers matter, but so does the life you are trying to build.

And I know that sometimes the most useful question is simply:

What are we actually trying to make possible here?
